I had a very complicated feelings on the past Friday
because I spent some *SOME* on pampering myself with Laneige products using the money I earned during the semester break,
which actually I planned to save it for another purpose (to surprise my boyfriend on his birthday, but I think I can't make it on time, 'cause it's a darn expensive thing for a student like me *HOWEVER* it's a very good thing to keep memories *well, guess what is it?*)
ahhh-hem, back to Laneige products.
I'm having some serious problem with whiteheads on the cheeks which it never happen in the past *when i was young D:*, and it often gets inflamed, which eventually becomes acne (surprisingly all are occurs on the used-to-be-smooth-and-silky cheeks, not on T-zone at all *having combination skin type*)
I had a Laneige Blackhead Melting Gel but seems like it is not as helpful with that. So, after I had some surveys on the blog posts on the net, I decided to head towards to counter in Mid Valley to inquire for more information on Pore Clear Essence, Pore Tight Essence and Pore Minimizing Pack. *and also Snow BB Cushion that is already in the list no query LOL*
Well, at the end I bought Pore Clear Essence, Pore Minimizing Pack, Water Bank Essence and Snow BB Cushion.
You may wonder why there is a Water Bank Essence came in from no where.
If you missed the Water Bank Promo@MidValley during the end of June, here's another small promo:

and the ingredients of each products:
It's actually quite worth for the money *in terms of money, not the value and effect yet*
and so now you see where did the Water Bank Essence came from,
and how will this post be a Multi Cleanser Review at the end LOL
I chose to review Multi Cleanser because it is something you can immediately see the effect of only one use.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Finally,
Review for Multi Cleanser
*LOL*
It a 4-in-1 cleanser that can helps to remove your make up, remove sunscreen, mildly exfoliate your dead cells and do the basic facial cleansing at once.
It is specially mentioned that it contains papain enzymes, that could gently exfoliate away your dead cells, leaving a brighter and smoother skin texture.
Well some facts about this papain enzymes in case you didn't know:
Papain enzymes are extracted from fruits of papaya, which is actually a protease that could break down the proteins, thereby help you to 'dissolve' your dead cells (they are proteins!) away.
And, if you do not know, papain enzymes also help in reducing inflammation, pain and swelling, therefore it is also used as a very useful plant-based medication for SORE THROAT (such as Beazyme). (locate your nearest pharmacy to get one if you have sorethroat in the future) *adjust the specs with an almost-a-pharmacist pose*

Now let's have a look how effective is the makeup removing power.
Layering the make up on the back of my hand
Click to have a closer look on the products used. |
First of all, make sure you do your face cleansing with clean hands
Wet your face (in my case wet the back of the 'affected' hand), then apply the cleanser (coin-sized for face) on it and gently lather to melt and remove the make up. Lastly, rinse it with water.
While lathering, I can feel some tiny small beads rolling around (exfoliating beads? or the mascara fibers? LOL)
*Look at the fibers of the mascara lol*
So I took another half of the amount of Multi cleanser shown above, and do the wetting and lathering again before I rinsed it with water. (It does produce foam with water don't worry, just that in this picture the hand is not wet enough)
End result:
and wow! It really does clean all the make up as promise, and I don't feel dry on my hand.
*Thumbs up*
:D
But WAIT!!!
.
..
...
After that I tried it on my face. One thing that I want to pinpoint is that when the cleanser foam accidentally enters my eyes, Oh my god, it did hurts A LOT, a lot more than my usual cleansing oil (Biore makeup remover) and other cleansers (TamagoHada, Clinique cleanser, Simple deep cleansing facial wash). I do not know whether is it the fragrance fault or the papain enzyme. *Help!!the enzymes are eating my eye ballsssss!!*
So use it with care and try to avoid the foam entering the eyes. Overall it is good and the effect is promising. (remove all the make up especially the stubborn Majolica mascara with just continuous, gentle lathering *not rubbing*)
(dek dek!!! actually you are not supposed to use any cleanser with exfoliating particles around your eyes...so don't be lazy and remove your eye make using the proper makeup remover...!! OVER!!)
But I'm not sure how easy would it be when it is on the lashes *.* (and there's higher chance making the foam entering your eyes if you lather it around the eyes)
Generally not drying, but it could be a little dry on sensitive skin.
Do wipe your skin with your toner and apply some hydrator or moisturizer after cleansing.
That's the end of reviewing. Thanks for reading. =)
